Play the next higher rank
A face-up card of the immediately higher rank may go to the discard pile. Suit and color do not matter.
Play the next lower rank
A face-up card of the immediately lower rank may go to the discard pile. A 6 can follow a 7, even from another suit.
Pass from King to Ace
This Golf variant allows the circular King–Ace–2 wraparound. The Ace may follow a King or a 2, and vice versa.
Draw if no card fits
A card from the stock replaces the top card of the discard pile. The stock is used only once; do not draw before checking the available cards.
Clear the top of a column
Only the top card of each column can be played. Removing it makes the card directly below available.
Clear the tableau
Remove all cards from the seven columns to win. Choose rank chains that free several cards before using up the stock.
