Objective
Be the first to get rid of all your cards; avoid finishing last.

- After all other players pass, the last player to lay a card takes the trick and leads freely.
- A player with no cards left receives their final rank and leaves the round.
Legal actions and obligations
- Cards in a meld must have the same rank.
- The card count must match the active combination.
- The rank must be strictly higher; ties are not allowed.
- Passing remains final until the trick is reset.
- Playing four of a kind reverses the ranking if revolution is enabled, but does not automatically clear the trick. Another four of a kind reverses the order again.
Score
- First out: President; second: Vice President; second to last: Vice-Asshole; last: Asshole.
- In each round, the first place gets as many points as there are players, then one point less per place down to 1 point for last place. Points are added in a series.
End of game
- The round ends when all players except one have emptied their hand.
- A game ends after the configured number of rounds, with one round set by default. The ranking for the last round and the cumulative score are shown.
Locked special cases and variants
- In a series of multiple rounds, the last place automatically gives their two best cards to the President, who chooses two cards to return. From four players onward, the Vice ranks exchange one card as well.
- If the player who should lead next has already finished, the initiative passes to the next active player.
- In Revolution, the 2 becomes lowest and the 3 highest: 2,A,R,D,V,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3. Normal order returns at the start of the next round.
- The revolution=false option disables reversals; equalization, joker, and staircase remain absent.
Artificial intelligence
The AI uses only its hand, public cards, the allowed history, and the legal actions sent by the server.
Easy
Chooses only among legal actions, with some randomness and no deep lookahead.
Normal
Uses a stable heuristic strategy, taking into account the score, the turn, and the visible cards.
Hard
Evaluates multiple action sequences, remembers public information, and limits tactical mistakes.
- Easy plays the lowest legal combination.
- Normal keeps 2s and four-of-a-kind combinations to regain the lead and avoids breaking pairs/triples unnecessarily.
- Hard estimates the remaining counts by rank from the public cards and plans how to empty the hand.
