Follow the requested suit

You must play a card of the requested suit if you have one. There are no trumps in Tressette.

Order: 3, 2, Ace

3 beats 2, which in turn beats Ace. Then come King, Knight, Jack, 7, 6, 5, 4. Do not confuse trick-taking rank with point value.

Win in the requested suit

When you follow suit in cups, the 3 of cups beats the Ace of cups. The winner leads the next trick.

Discard

If you do not have any card of the led suit, you may play another suit. There is no trump to choose in Tressette.

The variant's scoring

In the proposed variant, the Ace scores three points, and the 2 and 3 score one point each. The displayed score follows this simplified count.
